Message We both had 369rwhp/4xxrwtq at the time and it was determined that our cars were pretty even. From the line, we'd run even ... till I shifted. He'd pull 1/2 car from first to second shift, then another from second to third. :-/ When we'd run on the freeway we were dead even, neither of us pulling on the other. In essance, they cars themselves are dead even powerwise, but because the auto can shift faster and not lose as much boost between shifts, it is faster. It also has a higher top end if you've got the nutz to run it up. Wes and I ran up to 160 and we stayed pretty much even all the way till we let off. Stock vs. stock ... it's probably a tossup. After mods, the auto will definitely get you to 100mph faster (and then keep it's lead).
